Raspberryoska: Truly Russian

Classic Russian Cocktail

Made from Russian Standard Vodka produced in St Petersburg from the finest russian winter wheat and soft clear glacial waters of lake Ladoga.

Available in the US
ABV 40%
Taste: bitter bite typical of Russian vodkas, light burn on the way down and a bitter aftermath.
If you are not the shot type a  soda/juice chaser will do it.


Glass : Tumbler

Ingredients 

Russian Standard Original : 50ml
Raspberries:  6-8
Juice of half a Lime
Sugar : 3 tsp
Crushed Ice
Garnish: Raspberries and a sprig of mint


Muddle the lime juice, sugar and raspberries to create a paste.
Top up with crushed ice.
Add Russian Standard vodka and stir well.
Add extra crushed ice and garnish with a few raspberries.

Watermelon Margarita

Who could possible resist a watermelon margarita created from fresh watermelon on a warm summer day

I don't believe there are many

Here is a recipe from Avion Tequila to make your summer more refreshing


Watermelon Margarita

Avion Silver or Reposado 2 parts

Fresh lime juice 2 parts

Agave nectar squeeze

Fresh water melon

And 4 ice cubes

Tip: You can also use .25 any orange liqueur like Triple sec or Cointreau which make it more boozy and more delish. Blends well with the other ingredients.


Muddle watermelon with agave nectar in a mixing glass. Combine the remaining ingredients. Shake vigorously with ice. Fine strain into chilled cocktail glass. Or don't strain and enjoy on rocks and the watermelon chunks in your drink

Garnish as desired. 

You could also blend the ingredients and make a blended margarita, use ice based  on consistency.

Preparation

Muddle lime, strawberries and cane sugar
Add ice and vodka
Shake well and enjoy
