In Honor of Puerto Rico

Normally,  people do a tequila shot with lime and salt.

The Puerto Rican style which was imparted to me by a Puerto Rican gentleman who was my bar customer.

Ingredients
Any Tequila 1.50oz
Shake over ice if you prefer
Pickle juice 1.50oz
Tabasco sauce for variation (optional)


Use two shot glasses; Fill one up with tequila and the other with pickle juice.

Take the tequila shot first followed by the pickle juice.

For the variation which the Puerto Rican gentleman referred to as the "Dirty Puerto Rican"

Fill the first shot glass with tequila

Pour hot sauce into the second shot glass and top with pickle juice & stir
