Mezcal:is a distilled alcoholic beverage made from any type of agave plant native to Mexico. It can be produced anywhere in Mexico though it is usually produced in Oaxaca region Mexico.
Technically, all Tequila is a type of Mezcal, but not all Mezcal is Tequila.
Similar to Whiskey and Bourbon....all Bourbon is Whiskey but not all Whiskey is Bourbon.
