What is your type Tequila or Mezcal?

Tequila: is a type of alcoholic drink made from the heart of the blue agave plant, and must be made in the Tequila region of Mexico.

Mezcal:is a distilled alcoholic beverage made from any type of agave plant native to Mexico. It can be produced anywhere in Mexico though it is  usually  produced in Oaxaca region Mexico.

Technically, all Tequila is a type of  Mezcal, but not all Mezcal is Tequila.

Similar to Whiskey and Bourbon....all Bourbon is Whiskey but not all Whiskey is Bourbon.

Some Facts

Tequila drinkers in Mexico typically sip their drink to savor the Tequila.

Blanco Tequila left in its purest form does not contain any added sugar or flavors.

Tequila pairings is a real  thing and goes well with spicy citrus infused seafood and ceviche.

The worm is a real thing one Mezcal distiller found that putting the larvae that lives on the agave plant in the bottle enhanced the flavor of the drink.

There are five official classifications of Tequila: Blanco, Joven, Reposado, Añejo and Extra Añejo from youngest to the oldest.
